As a local resident, I'm concerned regarding the impact on wildlife, traffic and quality of life we have come to enjoy in these surroundings
Stop the charge for ratables. In the long run you will spend more on infrastructure and require tax increases which will destroy your credibility and electability!

I live in the area. I just took a boat trip along this area just over a week ago. it would be unfair to the wildlife to develop along this shoreline and would damage of of the lovely nature areas that make FL so atrractive to tourists and the wildlife itself.

This development should not take place as planned. The infrastructure is inadequate in the area. Roads and bridges cannot handle additional load. The development will harm the property values and lives of existing residents and owners. The development cannot take place until you assure that the properties and lives of existing residents and owners will not be harmed or devalued.

The General Development Plan will create an area too densely populated - mangroves will be cut and "cultured" - wildlife will not be free to roam anymore. A seawall will be ugly and restrict movement of all creatures.

the LAST unspoiled mangrove shoreline in Sarasota Bay. Development and proposed "mitigation" will effectively lead to the rapid decline of the natural habitat. If you drive on any of the roads in Manatee or Sarasota Co. the traffic congestion is horrible ---Do we need more development to compound the problem??? Aqua by the Bay only being built to line the pockets of Carlos and Larry ---and those they paid off to bypass evironmental lregs RJS

I live in this area and have been fishing near Longboat for many years, precisely because it's one of the last wild areas in all of SRQ Bay. Carlos Beruff and friends have enough money without trashing another public treasure for private gain. Vote no.
