Longbar Pointe - Save the Last Great Place on Sarasota Bay

I do not support the proposed changes for Long Bar Pointe.

I would hope that our county would do what is best for the area as a whole, and not give in to a very powerful developer.

this would be an abomination to our area and would worsen the already problematic traffic pattern.

If allowed, this new CITY will destroy the ecology of Sarasota Bay forever. Year round Red Tide will prevail killing animals and people calling this area home. This developer does not care as evidenced by his Chinese Drywall horror show!!

Aqua by the bay will be,an environmental DISASTER!!! NO MORE COMMERCIAL DEVELOPMENT IS NEEDED EITHER. JUST LOOK AT ALL THE EMPTY STORE FRONTS ON CORTEZ ROAD.

Please save the bay! Don't build for people! Protect the bay for the native plants and animals that call the bay home!

These mangroves must be protected and this location is the worst possible place to dredge a channel and to encourage large boat traffic which will damage seagrass.

Stop the condos! Do not develop this area.

Please do not destroy what we have left of Florida and Manatee's natural environment. Enforce existing laws and regulations.

The beauty of this area belongs to everyone who lives within 10 miles of this development... Let no-one destroy for a few bucks...

The development already there cut down mangroves with no consequences. Can developers do anything they want to our environment ? Yes when there is no accountability.

Aqua by the Bay would: Violate a multitude of local wetland protection laws. Devastate the mangroves and their ecological function. Endanger the healthiest seagrass, best shorebird habitat and finest fishing ground on the Bay. Destroy the character of this peaceful Old Florida coastline. I am very much against development that will ruin the shoreline. This developer put in a plan several years ago and keeps changing it. He is going to ruin the beautiful shoreline.

This area is a nursery for bay fish and needs to be protected. Let's just say no to these drastic plans which greatly affect this pristine area.
