This would be an irreversible decision on the part of the school district. Land that can NEVER be brought back to the district. Please consider other options before impacting this community.

First of all, as a Sartorette parent and former teacher, my family feels closely connected with Sartorette as a community. Breaking up the atmosphere we have come to know as a second home would feel like a tear in the heart of our community of families and neighbors.
In addition, I stand with petitioners in agreement that generating revenue through liquidation of existing and potential future assets is a poor and short-sighted solution when there are so many avenues to explore. Shrinking the district’s long-term assets will not solve shrinkage in enrollment, nor
build a stronger future through programs that support OUR students and community.
Let us also not ignore the historically ever-growing value of real estate as an asset to hold on to as it becomes scarcer, and as density of developments increases, schools, parks, and areas like Sartorette remain a welcoming outdoor relief for children to play, explore, garden, discover, and learn.
Think, don’t shrink, Cambrian.

Please do not sell this. Leave this school the was it is. There are too many other schools that McKee more sense to take!
