I pay dues to be a member of this organization. That does NOT give you the right or responsibility to mandate my or others personal health decisions. This mandate is overstepping and I'm seriously reconsidering my membership.

The vaccine minimizes the severity of symptoms for the vaccinated person if covid is contracted. It's not immunity against the disease and it doesn't prevent spread. I feel the best safety barometer for all attending international is testing prior to contest.

You will benefit your already struggling organization by removing these ridiculous attendance requirements. You are grossly singling out a HUGE number of members and supporters. In the end, it really will only wreck your membership and your pocket book. I do hope that you will reconsider.

My daughters will be competing in the region 9 contest. I will be attending the Gasparilla 5k in February and submitting a negative Covid test to participate and since FL is a no mandate state, the same rules should apply.

Vaccinated people can transmit the virus as well - this ruling makes no sense. SAI keeps touting that they're being more "inclusive," but obviously they are not. I will not be showing "papers" in order to attend anything.

I’ve been in this organization almost 50 years. Because of SAI I have a great career, husband and friends all over the world. I can’t believe a volunteer organization I pay yo belong to would limit participation in our international contest. We are all adults and should be able to make our own decisions on our medical behalf. I am saddened this decision was made. There ARE other routes we can take. Please reconsider and make a decision which slows us to do what we love- SING!!
