As a 37 year member and a regional leader, I am so very disappointed in Sweet Adelines International after hearing this decision. We have already lost membership in recent years and this will continue that trend, sowing even more division than is already present. I pray you will recognize the rights of our members in their medical decisions and rescind this unnecessary requirement. It is a very personal decision and is nobody's business other than the member. Trust our members.

As a chorus member, quartet member, team leader, & and even a vaccinated member, I’m disappointed that SAI, a “volunteer” organization, has put so many mandates on its members that it has taken the joy out of doing what we love. SINGING! THIS mandate goes far and above the others and infringes on members rights to choose what they feel is best for their health. When does it stop?

I have been a member of Sweet Adelines for 28 years. I am very upset about the Sweet Adelines' decision to require COVID vaccination. I never intended on getting the vaccine and that is not going to change.
Sweet Adelines has been a very important part of my life since I was 16 years old. I sincerely hope that you are willing to reconsider your decision to require the COVID vaccination.

I am so very disappointed that it has come to this in a hobby organization such as Sweet Adelines. I have a right to my privacy and opinion and would appreciate your consideration in that. It doesn’t matter whether I have accepted the vaccine or declined it, or what my medical conditions are, OR MY FREEDOM of religion, these are MY choices. While I have the utmost respect for other peoples choices or beliefs that is their own personal business as well. We all go out in the public whether it is church, the doctors office, grocery store, restaurants, family gatherings, etc and I promise you we are all exposed to many illnesses every day as well as COVID and we ALL make that personal choice. I am seriously considering if I chose to continue to participate in SA if this is not corrected.

So incredibly disappointed in SAI, to the point where I will drop my membership if this stands. Follow the science, vaccinated people can carry and spread Covid as easily as unvaccinated. You will alienate members and will lose members that this organization cannot afford to lose, given the decline in membership even before
Covid, let alone what is happening to choruses across the country. While I understand the difficult position the board is in, I strongly urge you yo rescind this before the membership shrinks to the point of no return.

Negative tests or antibody tests for ALL equally for attendance. The science supports this rather than the one sided stipulations!

I'm vaccinated, but I don't want to prove that status to an organization with which I voluntarily affiliate myself.

It doesn't make sense to require proof of vaccine, if vaccinated people can still spread the virus. I am fully vaccinate and refuse to go any where that requires proof. We are adults in an adult organization. If people do not feel safe, they should not attend.

You should not mandate what even our US Supreme Court says our own federal government cannot demand or mandate.
