Not against renovating the Hall ...it should have been done years ago with the first insurance pay out... but to think building 220+ houses will benefit the area is madness when it is obvious to even the simple minded that the infrastructure doesn't cope with the current demands, let alone those that will be created when the school has doubled its intake.
I wouldn't object to a few exclusive houses that would enhance the area, give more profit per house to help the renovation and cause less of an impact on the already strained infrastructure of the village.

The road is already too busy and dangerous for school children, my car was crashed into only this week.
The huge increase in traffic alone makes this a bad idea.
Repair the hall or leave but no more houses.

Really concerned about the number and volume of traffic in and out of the village particularly if the route into the proposed development is from the village. We have used the circular walk past the Manor House for twenty years up until a year ago when Access was denied no doubt by the developers. So much for fostering community spirit. Will the two hundred and twenty houses also get access to the woodland in the village which is all that we need, more dog poo and irresponsible users. I fear this will go ahead as it is probably a foregone conclusion although I shall fight it.

Sywell and Overstone can barely cope with the volume of traffic that is now coming through the village to bypass the A43. And as for the current building work....construction traffic not allowed through the village, funny because I've been behind 2 low loaders going through Overstone and Sywell this week alone on way to site off A43.

With 3000 houses already being built on the village boundary how can there possibly be any need for a further 250? The small road leading to this area is directly opposite a school which is already congested - the infrastructure cannot cope with this further development - it is only a matter of time before there is a serious accident or death of someone on that junction when the school is expanded, let alone with a further 250 houses using it.

I am against unthoughtful development- this is not ideal, however I am all for Overstone Hall being restored to its former glory, its been in a state of disrepair for too long now. I would like to see a small classy development of top quality housing with the correct infrastructure put into place so it compliments and helps the village and its residents - I also want to understand why its necessary to build the amount of housing being applied for.

It will be nice to have the hall renovated and used again but building on the fields opposit the church would be horrendous. Not only would it spoil the whole area but the roads, which already struggle to cope would be overwhelmed. It's difficult to see how we will cope with doubling the size of the school and the traffic generated by the huge estate being planned between overstone and moulton.

this area of the county is currently being swamped with new housing and it needs to stop. This extra development reeks of opportunistic greed. given barry howards position in the freemasonry I would like to know that any one involved has declared their interest to avoid the stink of corruption.

More than happy for the Hall to be restored - I don't think anyone has an issue with that. I do however have an issue with the lack of care and consideration to the existing residents of the village and the parents of children attending the school - the road itself is already a troublesome area in the mornings and afternoon, how will the addition of 200 or so houses help that? And Barry Howard Homes it seems just want to line their pockets further, absolutely preposterous
