This is a disgrace! Why is Daventry building all these new houses on the boundary which will impact Northampton residents? This needs addressing.

More houses adding to commuter traffic in Billing Lane and construction traffic which ignores weight limits and planning restrictions put in place to protect the Lane. Please can we have a proper plan for the area showing the impact on Northampton rather than Daventry building houses on the town boundary. See www.billinglane.uk

Utter disgrace. I have lived in the village ever since I was born and even though I am in my early 20's there is no need for the extra 200 homes and even though they won't admit it the soul purpose for the houses is to finance the restoration of the hall. Even though I do agree with that.. the hall is an amazing piece of history as it is

Why 200 houses needed and sale of apartments to fund restoration - this is just a money making excercise no thought for the environment or residents.

Enabling development does not have to take place near the building being restored so there is no reason that money for the hall can't come from the 3500 home already being built in overstone leys.
Don't cause traffic strain on an area that is stretched and ruin more beautiful countryside when there is no need.

Thousands of houses are already being built in close proximity to my village. I'm struggling to see how the village will be able to manage that much traffic (I struggle to get out of my own driveway at the moment in the village as it is at peak times) let alone with a further 200+ houses being built. Restoring Overstone Hall shouldn't happen to the detriment of the countryside surrounding it.

If this Overstone Hall is restored there still will be no access for the village people and the worries of the heavy traffic so near to the school is totally unacceptable.

Overstone needs no more houses. Three thousand houses are being built near Overstone, taking up far too much countryside. There are also plenty of houses are available for sale in Overstone, of all types and sizes.

This whole proposed development is an abomination. 2011 census says 377 dwellings and they want to add another 220. NO WAY!

This development is Ill conceived. Merely an excuse for developers to make lots of money, with no consideration for local residents. No infrastructure to support fully the Overstone Leys development, so this is clearly not going to help.

Overstone does not need any more housing. 2000 are already on the way, there is no benefit to digging up the countryside any more. Building 229 houses to restore an old building that has been derelict for 20 years (to turn into yet more flats) is no excuse but a cover up

With the already approved developments of overstone keys and overstone green of 3000 new homes why cant funds be raised from these developement instead of raping more virgin land
