We as free citizens have a constitutional right to own firearms to hunt and protect our families as well. The military strength of this country is supported from foreign invasion by the law abiding gun owners. The gun violence that has been occurring isn’t the result of a gun but rather the loss of values in this country by individuals. If anything, a law abiding citizen needs a legal gun for protection now more than ever.

Please make Rockingham a 2nd amendment constitutional county. We see in Marbury v Madison that any laws that are in direct violation of the US Constitution are null and void. The Fathers wrote the second amendment after freeing themselves from a tyrannical government- the world’s superpower of the day. We must stand against the tyranny that the new government of Richmond is trying to shove down our throats, and send a strong message that we, the people, of the Commonwealth of VA will not stand for this.

To continue with what I had just said if The Rockingham County Board of Supervisors do not do as we wish then we vote them out. If its possible we circulate a petition that results in the immediate removal of any supervisor that votes against our petition. I did have a Rockingham County Citizen tell me that a certain supervisor told him that we did not know what was good for us only the supervisors did.

I have already signed this petition with my name but I am sending this to tell those of you that sign as anonymous that does not count as a signature. Please sign your real name so this petition means something. Also if our wonderful governor does get his stupid laws passed all of us citizens should pool our money and hire a team of lawyers to bring a lawsuit against him and The Democrats. Because as far as I am concerned it would be illegal for him to pass laws that violate the 2nd Amendment of the US Constitution. Liberals may try to tell us that when the Constitution was written we had single shot muskets but so did the government but see what we have now and see that the Government has much more than us. We are gradually going to lose all of our rights if it continues.

These new laws being brought up are unconstitutional . No law abiding citizen should have to suffer or pay dearly by having the god given rights taken awayand which is goin to fix not one single problem due to the simple fact that criminals dont care about the law in the first place.

I support passing a bill to protect our 2nd Amendment rights to bear arms. It was given to us by our forefathers so that we could protect ourselves.

Our 2nd Amendment tights should not be infringed upon. Our forefathers gave that for our protection as citizens!

Any gun laws that are in direct conflict with the rights given by the 2nd amendment of the U.S. Constitution should be treated as unconstitutional and thereby not enforceable.
