Rio Rico AZ Homeowners and Residents say NO to 104' Cellular Communications Tower!
Santa Cruz County, AZ Residents!
The undersigned residents and homeowners of Rio Rico, AZ hereby oppose the approval of Case No. CUP-18-3-1 to construct a 104' cellular communications tower at 389 Avenida Coatimundi in Rio Rico, AZ 85648.
The proposed 104' cellular communications tower is not compatible with the residential neighborhood surrounding the proposed cell tower site, and could negatively impact our property values, the marketability of our property, and pose other nuisances such as noise coming from the fans or generator that can occur at any time day or night, disturbing the peace and quiet that we now enjoy, and possible noxious odors coming from the diesel fuel that will likely run the generator. The proposed cell tower will completely change and ruin the character of our beautiful and peaceful neighborhood. We do not want to be near cell tower emissions. We do not want the traffic on Avenida Coatimundi that will come from the maintenance vehicles. We do NOT want this proposed cell tower in our neighborhood.

When: NOTE: At the last meeting on THURSDAY, JANUARY 25, 2018 at 1:00 p.m., the meeting for CUP-18-3-1 got tabled for the next Planning and Zoning Meeting on February 22nd, 2018. Time to be announced.
Where: Santa Cruz County Complex: 2150 N. Congress Drive, Nogales, AZ in the Board of Supervisors Meeting Room.

IMPORTANT NOTICE! The issue of this cell tower ALREADY went before the Board of Adjustment on November 9, 2017 under a different CUP Case Number, and at the end of that hearing, The Board of Adjustment DENIED THE APPLICATION! Many petition signatures opposing the cell tower were turned in at that time which was the deciding factor. It was a quiet victory that most people did not hear about! We, the residents of Rio Rico thought it was over, but apparently, the voice of the community was not heard the first time. Let's hope we are heard Loud and Clear this time! Thank You.

Seeing the momentum grow despite the delays is heavy, but it proves we are not fighting this alone. I am exhausted by the constant stall tactics, yet your commitment keeps me pushing forward toward the next hearing.

No cell tower's in city limits or in close proximity of home school's or businesses, take the elsewhere
I am not against cell towers but what I am against is the location of this particular cell tower. It is in a neighbor and is unsightly and studies show cell towers in neighborhoods lower property values and that is the last thing Santa Cruz County needs. Please sign against
