Resignation of Hawaii Community College Chancellor and Vice Chancellor of Student Affairs

Students stands alone because other Staff on Campus, fears retaliation. Our System at Hawaii Community College is broken and need to cleaned out. I encourage the Board of Regents to hear the voices of the Students, when reporting the Administrators at HCC. . World Peace

We need to correct this downward trend by getting fresh and inspiring leadership at Hawaii Community College. Agreed. This is even more critical with drastic changes in the new economy during and after COVID. To have failing leadership and guidance at Hawaii Community College does our keiki a great disservice.

I totally understand and respect on being "Anonymous", because there has been a long history of retaliation by the leadership at Hawaii Community College. Mahalo for signing! We deserve better!

Leadership needs to be the model. Auditing hiring practices should be done at UH Hilo as well. There seems to be a lot of unethical behavior as people in higher positions abuse their position and forget that they are working for the community and the tax payers are paying their very extremely high salaries for what they are doing , especially if they are abusing their power and position. All Chancelors and vice chancellor should be audited. They make too much money to just let them do what they want to.

It’s about time for new leadership

As a Alumni of UH Hilo school system, I stand firm in voting UH Hilo Community college Chancellor and Vice chancellor out of their positions who currently misrepresent our Community. Their Failure to do their job and not doing whats top priority for our school, students, staff and community is causing a bad environment for those trying to grow, learn, and feel safe. We need better leadership especially during these tough times. Please resign them!

I was a student couple years ago and I just came back just recently with my niece attending HAWCC as well. I was helping her trying to figure out her paper works because I thought her tuition was a little bit too much for a pacific islander student. Came to find out for 2 semesters, they had her under non-resident which she was supposed to be under Pacific islander. With multiple emails and calls unanswered, I finally was able to walk in and they told me that basically it was our fault and they can't refund her for whatever she was over charged with for the 2 semesters. We went back home and went back to emailing back and forth between multiple people who keep forwarding our email to different people with no help at all. I gave up. We both gave up. :(

Sometimes we have to stand up for those who are not believed. Gas lighters are so destructive and destroy lives.
