Completely inappropriate scale and type of development in a conservation area.

Totally ridiculous...!!!!

Totally inappropriate accesses and increased pressure on drainage in the area already subject to longstanding issues of surface water flooding.

I have serious reservations about this large development and the unsuitable entrance to the site.

I believe that this development would be detrimental to the local community and wish the planning committee to reject this proposal.

More potential flooding, ridiculously poor road safety issues!!!! The infrastructure is not sufficient enough for these amount of houses to be built..

The proposed development is not suitable Which will affect the views for residents. It will also add to traffic congestion on London Road.

This application fails in both the spirit and the letter of responsible development planning - road safety, flooding/drainage, conservation, environmental, ecological....... BDC please listen to local concerns and make the right decision for the right reasons, not because your hand has been forced.

A dangerois junction is going to be created. Who will take responsibility for any injuries or worse as a result, in these times of litigation?

I thought this was a conservation area Does this only apply when it suits the planning department?

London Road already has major traffic problems especially when A1 closed without any more traffic and access/exit onto this road especially near railway bridge and roundabout leading down to Ordsall.

Traffic will be a huge problem. There are already issues with flooding. Huge conservation issues. I cannot understand why this site is considered to be suitable for this proposed development..

I oppose to this potential development.

My fears are that if approved it will get extended down towards Rutland road and Cavendish road, and exacerbate flooding problems evident with heavy rainfall. The entry and exist to the proposed development is too near a blind bridge, it's getting more difficult to gain entry from grove coach road onto London road, I understood no existing properties would be demolished for a larger access entry and exist with footpath. This is supposed to be a conservation area, We are slowly losing to house building and this is what I object to.

Short end of a long piece of string!! When will planners remember that people need space round them not just houses. Traffic as a result of new developments as well as a feeling of being hemmed in must be taken into account. Infill brown field sites, town sites. Refurbish older properties.

What's wrong with the other areas that already have outline planning permission for residential expansion in the Retford area? Why does it have to be here???????

Traffic bad now, with temporary traffic lights! 115 houses, approximately then 230 more cars coming out and going in at least once/twice a day PLUS Barkerss development?? PLUS A1 closure and diversion through Retford equals CHAOS!!

This is looking to be a dangerous place to build houses as the access will be awful

If the only entrance is off London Road, at one side of the humped railway bridge. That is ridiculous!!!!!
