I agree with points raised. Entrance and egress unsuitable.

Significant safety issues for access to London Road from proposed entrance; blind spot at base of rail bridge. Already too much congestion accessing London Road from Grove Coach Road and Bracken Lane. Proposed area already experiences flooding

I am in agreement that the plans for the Kenilworth Development are totally unsatisfactory for the intended location. As previously discussed drainage and flooding are my paramount objections to the building development, plus the future safety of residents regarding road traffic safety, traffic chaos and total change of infrastructure to this area really needs looking into more thoroughly. Doesn't take a scientist to realise that increased urbanisation is only going to lead to increased flooding!! My 16 year old geography students know this so surely these so called 'experts' should?! Utterly rediculous! These greenfield sites need to be protected not destroyed!! Developing on this site is only going to increase population, which Retfords infrastructure cannot cope with along with a massive increase in air and noise pollution. I can't wait for decreased life expectancy for our children! Furthermore, the development on this land will be destroying valuable ecosystems. These ecosystems, once disturbed reach a state of positive feedback where they can never recover (not so positive after all! ) and in fact continue to destroy themselves and fail to reach dynamic equilibrium resulting in further destruction of habitats!

Traffic and flooding issues? Has anybody assessed the infrastructure and social services implications?

The infrastructure of Retford also needs to be updated before we have any more houses as the schools and services are already overburdened.

Please no houses, road into retford is already busy enough especially when A1 is shut . Hard enough to turn out of side roads when busy and local schools already reaching limits, how is a new housing estate going to help this?.
