Resident Opposition to 5 Research Parkway Special Permit

Oppose the new project for the old Bristol Myers location

This neighborhood is filled with families including children and seniors. This would only hurt the air and noise quality , but threaten the water and worsen the traffic making this a safety risk to children. No amount of research and money can guarantee the health and safety of all of these families.

We do not need gas and oil or trucks close to our watershed. MUDDY RIVER HAS ALREADY BEEN DIVERTED WITH BRISTOL MYERS

This is one of the most dangerous proposal to our town to date..safety and environment is going to be drastically impacted..we can not allow this to happen

I live on N Farms and can attest that trailer trucks, using this road as passage to Meriden, rarely obey the speed limit. Adding more traffic to these roads is not safe for residents.

Hey its a company that wants to open up in our town too many companies have been leaving the state. This could be good for tax revenue in our town. Besides why don't we start a petition against Choate and make them start paying taxes for all the property they own in Wallingford?

In view of the numerous health, safety, and other concerns stated in the petition, I strictly oppose to giving Calare a special permit to implement the proposed changes to the 5 Research Parkway property.

We have already been lied to about the impact of the Eversource power transfer station. The plan is too ambiguous which leads me to believe this plan will have a negative impact on our neighborhood further reducing the value of our properties. Think about the destruction of this once valuable neighborhood before you destroy it fiurther.

I am against this and Wetlands already approved it.

Opposed to project but if PZC going to approve warehouses, hope they will at least incorporate restrictions on future tenants addressing concerns expressed at public hearing and rlsewhete

John Raccio Sr. 9 mins If this project is allowed to go forward, it will increase the traffic using High Hill Rd at Rt 68. This is already a dangerous intersection. There would need to be a traffic light installed or a complete redesign of this intersection. It is without question that people living on High Hill Rd and the subdivisions along it , plus the Church and Church School traffic, will try to go down High Hill Rd to Rt 68 to avoid Carpenter Lane traffic and congestion. Creating a very dangerous situation.
