This project would forever change the character and the environment of our neighborhood. It would negatively impact our daily lives with noise pollution, air pollution, potentially impact our water supply and the structural integrity of our homes in a manner that the applicant is either unable or unwilling to prevent. This is an ill-conceived proposal that is not an appropriate use of the property. Vote it down!

Our neighborhood is filled with families including children and seniors. This would only hurt the air and noise quality , threaten our water and worsen the traffic making this a safety risk to our children. No amount of research and money can guarantee the health and safety of all of our families.

This may come down to a legal fight. Will need to be ready to seek injunction to stop the project if town approves. Need to identify areas where owner is outside legal limits. These things I have noticed are potential targets: Safety on carpenter lane; creating a nuisance due to noise, light and air pollution; not conducive to a good neighbor; is a truck terminal not warehouse and outside permitted business in that zone. Economic value added to the town is offset by lowering property values in our 100 to 150 home neighborhood (35 to 40 million in value) by 20 or more %, low paying jobs created wont permit workers to own property up here; so doesn’t replace lost local value of jobs lost to BM move and cannot support property values. Since tenants are speculative, owner cannot claim warehouse use over terminal use. Will need a legal fund. Please think up other legal challenges and make list. Look at town ordinances, talk to attorneys.

The traffic that would be generated on Carpenter lane would be very detrimental this area and not having a light at the intersection with Research Parkway is unacceptable.

Please do what it takes to not allow the Special Permit. This project is not in the best interests of our community and the town as well.
