Rory Gallagher introduced the real Ireland to me; not only in terms of great music, but showing his country and its people like they are. He deserves our eternal gratitude for everything he's done and left.

Rory Gallagher should have been inducted into the RRHOF 30 years ago, however, there is still time for the " Hall " to do the right thing! And, renaming / naming the airport in Cork after Rory Gallagher is a great thought! Great idea, glad to sign my friend, Rory will always live in our hearts, God Bless him!!

Gallagher makes me proud to be Irish. But what would make me even more proud would be to see the airport in his adopted county named after this absolute legend. It's the least he deserves after everything he did to put Ireland on the music world map.

Rory rocked the blues when he chose to give a bluesy or rather pedestrian number that treatment like no one else there are many examples, just for one check out " nadine" cover (chuck berry) sorry mr. Berry Rory turned this from a plodding catchy little number to an up beat far out exciting rocker ! Unreal !
