Although I love Rory Gallagher, this petition makes me wonder. I love the man for his talent, and mostly for his humility. But I wonder if he would've ever wanted an airport named after him.

Rory was and remains one of the finest guitars players and song writers in the world. I watched him play so many times and his music, his voice and his playing just mesmerised everyone. Irelad should be proud to rename Cork Airport in his honour!
