am writing to you on behalf of many University of South Africa (UNISA) students who are deeply affected by the delays and challenges surrounding the payment of our allowances. These allowances are not just financial support—they are our lifeline for food, transport, accommodation, data, and other academic needs. Currently, many students have not yet received their allowances, leaving us stranded and unable to focus on our studies. This has resulted in widespread frustration, financial hardship, and a serious risk of academic failure for those who cannot afford basic necessities. As distance-learning students, we already face unique challenges. Without timely allowances, many of us cannot afford data to access study materials, attend online classes, or submit assignments. This situation is unfair and undermines our right to equal access to education. We are asking for your urgent intervention to: Ensure that allowances are paid out without further delay. Advocate for systems that are efficient, transparent, and student-centered. Raise this matter publicly, including on radio platforms, so that our voices can be heard and accountability can be strengthened. We believe that with your support, this issue can reach the right ears and pressure can be applied to speed up solutions. Our only wish is to study with dignity, without the constant stress of financial uncertainty. Thank you for taking the time to listen to our plea. We trust you will treat this matter with urgency and help us restore hope in our education journey.

For nsfas to pay for our fees

The delay has really affected me, I have no support at home and i could not buy stationary for second semester

We need our nsfas allowance it has been long and there's no sign of any payment to us instead they wanted our July payment back now we owe unisa our own money how is that possible
