Reasonable coastal access is a responsibility of the government leadership at all levels of government. Everything these days do not have to be a source of revenue.

I am a beginner when it comes to kayaking and having a safe and easy way to launch my kayak without having to worry about launching from the surf would insensitive me to go more often.

My family can no longer enjoy the Redondo Marina because of the rate hike. Please bring it back down to the original price. I don't know what to tell my kids since we can no longer afford the new pricing. Thanks John

A 1000% increase is absurd. Please reconsider.

This is one of the few safe places to launch a kayak from -- access should be easy and affordable.

Last safe place to launch inside SMB for paddle boarders and Kayakers. Increase parking fee will also hurt people who can't afford it.

I drive down to Redondo from Encino. The increase in parking costs will cause me to visit other areas such as Marina Del Rey or Channel Islands Harbor instead of making the trip to Redondo.

As a Redonod Beach resident, access to the hand launch for me and family is important to us.

Visiting new places the parking should be the main expense. If I go there and spend time I would rather spend my money at local businesses than at a parking lot.

New rates will turn away kayak and pier fishermen as well.

Almost impossible to fish with the rate of $2 an hour especially if us fellow kayaks on the water for 10 plus hours.

Only thing keeping me from going to Redondo is lack of good parking for kayak launching.

please consider the fact that kayakers and SUP users have a much lower environmental impact on our coastal waters and should be encouraged with lower user fees.
