Coastal Commission staff says they oversee these things that affect coastal access, including coastal zone parking fees. Standard fee is $2 or less per hour, CAPPED AT $12 TO $15 PER DAY. King Harbor's uncapped $2/hr works out to 3 times that for 24 hr use.

The Redondo Beach logo of "More to Sea" will become "Less to Sea" for me if this goes through. I'll be heading to Cabrillo even though I've been here 61 years. At least there it's still a family atmosphere with great access to the water instead of paying through the nose for a single launch point.

The revenue that fishermen bring to Redondo outweighs the increase in parking. These fishermen cause the least impact on the environment.

don't rise the fee is safe and you haven't made made any improvement to warrant riseing the price.

Please understand the families with the least financial resources will be those most impacted. Access to our oceans need not be based on fees, as everyone who fishes must buy a California fishing license.

Ocean access should be kept available for citizens, greed shouldn’t be rewarded.
