Byrne's is a great school I love going here and everyone gets along the name has nothing to do with anything.no matter if you take the name I will still call myself and the rest of my peers byrnes rebels because we have school pride and love it here

Why don't feel keep to themselves? If we had a problem with the name we would say so. There is not anything racist about being a byrnes rebel. It's something to be proud of !!!

This school has been the rebels longer than I have been alive. Rebels has nothing to do racism or anything bad. Now the question is why now does everyone want to change the name of a high school that might be older than them? We all need to stop playing a victim/racist card because it's not going to help anyone or yourself. It's just going to cause an argument between everyone. I vote to keep the name
