This is rediculous and sad that people always have to find something to "stand up for there rights" for, especially over this crap, the Byrnes REBELS ARE NATIONALY known for being "the rebels". A rebel is a person who rises in opposition. I hear the NAACP is having a meeting about this on July 20th in greer and I say whoever TRULY supports THE REBELS should be there. I will be

The Byrne's High school has had the Rebels name for years and now you all are trying to take the Rebels name from The Byrnes High School. And thats not right. Byrnes high school has not done anything to all of you but you are trying to take the Rebels away from the Byrnes High School. You all have already to the soilder off of the front primises and now your trying to take the Rebels name. That will not happen because there are to many supporters that support the Byrnes High School Rebels. I went to Byrne's and I will stand up for the Byrne's High School Rebels where you will or not. GO REBELS.

Leave our James F Byrnes (Rebels) Alone this is our logo it hasn't hurt nobody and its been there for years you took our mascot several years ago and we didn't say anything but now we are .....

How is the word rebel racist? If I'm not mistaken, a rebel stands for what they believe in. It does not automatically mean that a rebel is racist.
