Due to the volume of pedestrians who use Heol Isaf, from school children to elderly village residents, it is essential that speed reduction measures are implemented without delay to improve safety as the speeding rate is shockingly high. 20 mph limits near the schools are my personal preference.

We need to improve road safety, in particular delivering safe routes to all our schools, encouraging and enabling more parents/ pupils to walk and cycle.

Fully support safety measures and traffic calming to deter use of heol isaf as a cut through. Very difficult to turn right onto heol isaf coming from station and comp in the evening due to constant flow of fast moving traffic.

I have had two vehicles written off by speeding distracted motorists! The last one only just missed my 78 year old neighbour who was walking to the shop!!

This should also apply to all other roads in Radyr. The road by the train station is ridiculous too

Please stop this main road in Radyr becoming more or a rat run. Traffic calming is urgently required.

Reduce speed before a child gets killed and fit more speed cameras along the road

We need to reduce the speed limit through Radyr and put more pelican crossings in place.

Do we have to wait for a fatality before action is taken?

A nightmare to cross the road in Radyr. Why so many HGVs?

Motorists have no greater right to use any urban road than do bus passengers, cyclists, pedestrians, horse-riders.
Difference is that on streets like Heol Isaf only drivers seem able to travel as fast as they like - not as fast as conditions allow and consideration for others makes sensible.
If drivers 'value' the Radyr rat run they can 'value' it for the extra 60 seconds a 20mph limit would entail.

The driving on heol isaf and windsor drive Radyr is dangerous and reckless, mainly due to the speeds people drive. The max speed here and anywhere near the schools should be 20mph max and actually less right outside the schools

Absolute joke of a council. Allow destruction of surrounding green fields to make way for 1000’s of houses yet they can’t keep the residents and more importantly the children of Radyr safe. Shame on you.

I am a resident on Heol Isaf and am very concerned about the safety of people walking along the road. Many people far exceed the 30mph limit

We must have traffic calming before a child is killed or seriously injured
Please put this in place pdq!
