We cannot continue as the only area in north cardiff to have no traffic calming. Over a period of one week Gosafe Cymru found 81% of vehicles were speeding outside the church in the centre of the village. This is an insane speeding rate. Something must be done

This is very necessary. Needed from Ty Nant to Llantrisant Rd.

Radyr is neing used as a cut through by thousands of vehicles. The village atmosphere is threrened by developers, and their contractors thunder through Heol Isaf on an almost daily basis. Redrow barely pay lipservice to the problem...it seems it will take an accident to get them to face their responsibilities seriously. Too many vehicles generally as no traffic calming or alternate road options....why?

It is essential that the speed of traffic is reduced to ensure the safety of all residents and particularly to enable all school children to have an active journey via more pedestrian crossings and enhanced safe routes.

Important to realise that the Community Council has limited powers and traffic control is not one of them.
The Community Council has written to Cardiff Council about the traffic issues on Heol Isaf many times. The Community Council has offered to meet in Radyr to show the relevant people in Cardiff Council the problems but so far, the offer has not been taken up.

Act now, even the BBC released an article stating that Wales are lagging behind on 20mph speed limit zones. The local councillors have the power to change it but in Radyr they obviously have more important things to do!! Leave it to the residents to sort it as usual.

20mph, as an absolute maximum should be enforced in Radyr and Morganstown. This to include all side roads.

No speed restrictions where children cross for school at numerous points. Scandalous.

This road has become far too busy. I have witnessed many drivers exceeding the speed limit particularly through Morganstown after the motorway bridge.

I walk between Morganstown and Radyr every day and the number and speed of vehicles traveling through is ridiculous.
Radyr and Morganstown are currently used as a bypass to the detriment of its residents.

Unfortunately Heol Isaf is used as a short cut to the west of the city by cars and lorries (HGVs)

I am aware that Heol Isaf is dangerous as a road to cross, difficult to enter from my drive and likely to become infinitely worse in the near future.

Road safety measures are long overdue on Heol Isaf , a reduction in the speed limit , tabled zebra crossings by the school s and an additional crossing by the health centre.
