To improve road safety & reduce traffic speed through Radyr & Morganstown to 20mph

30/01/20....THE BIG SLOW DOWN These lovely 'heart-shaped 20mph speed signs' effectively appealing to the conscience of drivers to consider what is inevitably just an advisory speed limit....and 20 mph will soon become widespread in residential areas. You can't help some people!

Radyr is being ignored because it has an ineffectual Tory councillor & Labour are using ignorance as a political tool

I live on Heol Isaf and I believe it is only a matter of time before we see a serious injury (or worse) in Radyr/Morganstown given the volume of traffic and the average speed. I hope that such an eventuality does not come to pass however if it does the local authority should be held to account.

I often see HGVs, Coaches and other vehicles going way too fast for the driving conditions. This is a B class road not the M4

This is urgently needed - I have great difficulty crossing the road every day of the working week with my two children under the age of 4

Action is required for the safety of everyone.

There is more and more traffic using this road pedestrians are at risk.

The number of cars travelling through Radyr and Morganstown have increased immensely over the past 10 years. The situation will only get worse with all the houses that are being built out on LLantrisant Road. Urgent action is required to improve safety in these villages, before we are having to deal with severe fatalities.

Take your life in your hands to dart across Heol Isaf or trek all the way to the very far apart crossings

A change is needed in regards to the speed limit through radyr and morganstown, or at least traffic calmers to help slow down the traffic.

Current 30mph limit seems inappropriate considering narrow pavements and school. We should be designing our streets to keep people safe and encourage walking and cycling plus help people keep fit and healthy.

When visiting my grandchildren I feel very nervous walking along Heol Isaf and feel very reluctant to walk any great distance with them resulting in more car use than should be necessary.

My grandchildren live in Radyr and when collecting them from Radyr Primary we have experienced cars driving through the crossing at speed. I fully support making where they live safer for them as pedestrians.

I walk my daughter to school, I feel the danger! Please act.

Heol Isaf is a very scary road to walk your kids to school or nursery on due to the speed and volume of traffic. Crossing points by the monument and Dryscol rd are also dangerous for Primary and Secondary school kids. Lets do it for the kids!!!

I strongly support this campaign. My granddaughter walks along Heol Isaf to school and the speed and volume of the traffic is terrifying. There is also a considerable lack of safe pedestrian crossings. If nothing is done about this then it's just a matter of time before a tragedy happens. Come on Cardiff Council - let's sort this out before it's too late!

I have been overtaken driving through Radyr several times when driving at around 25-30mph. I have also had other drivers pressuring me to go faster and beeping . It is very difficult to cross the road and very difficult to reverse into the drive at certain times of the day. Cars are in such a hurry that they don't wait even if it would help traffic flow if they just waited for cars to reverse into their drives.
