I support amending the winery ordinance to allow for live performance during reasonable hours.

I have enjoyed and hope to continue enjoying live music at the Ramona wineries. My understanding is an owner of a Ramona bar and grill complained about unpermitted live music at wineries. If her motive for doing this is concern that she is losing business to the wineries because they have live music, this is a false assumption. Bar patrons and winery patrons are two completely different groups. I ask the Sheriff Department to expedite new permits to all wineries that wish to host live amplified music on their properties.

Very relaxing patio with great singer songwriters. It’s never loud or or songs with bad language . Only benefits other businesses in Ramona.

Live music will greatly enhance a visit to our local wine tasting properties. If the reason for not permitting live music is because of noise. I understand, but please find a way to control it rather than eliminate it.

I’ve been to some of these concerts and they’re great and the reason I drove to Ramona. Please don’t take them away.

I have an Airbnb in Ramona and send guest to the wineries. They always want to know which ones have music. It’s a big draw.

Allow the music and enjoyment. This does not compete with local bars. It is not a choice between the two. Ramona is a small town and we should support each other, and help bring more business and visitors out. That is good for all!

DO IT.
The potential venues are amazing, the local talent DOES bring people up the mountain.

I think the joy of the hometown musician should be shared as often as possible. The restriction serves no purpose, it's everyone's loss.

I came from the record business, and also played in a number of bands. There is no substitute for quality 'live' music.
It benefits both the artist, and the audience.

This is the most ridiculous thing to have to petition. I fully support this petition!!! And everyone should. The fact that the city of San Diego would even intervien with something constructive and waisted tax payer money to waiste everyone's time!

Absolutely. As a musician, we're always looking for great venues to reach more fans, and work with great venue owners. There should be no reason to bar live music from these venues if the sound doesn't bother any nearby neighbors! Win-win for everyone involved.
