The standards were established many years ago. Live music has blossomed in Ramona and has generated much revenue for the businesses that support it, and has caused the employment of many in the winery and related businesses. It’s time to revisit the ordinance and to update it in accordance with the reality of what is happening in this town.

I’m a musician making a living performing music in various establishments many of which are wineries in Ramona. It’s very important to me personally that the county act in favor of allowing amplified live music to continue.

Live, local music is an integral part of the community and provides a boost to local economies particularly for our small businesses. We respectfully request this change in ordinance.
