Long time homeowners shouldn't be the ones holding the bag for the towns fiscal mismanagement. Is this how you intend to build bridges Mr. Specht?

Lets face it this county is gone so I suggest we all leave these criminals can have it . If we leave who will pay there Medicaid welfare police protection not us I have lived here 56 years and our leaders and I mean all of them from the top County exec to the town boards have given our county away . Sell everything you own and move to a place where criminals are not running the asylum. They do exist.

Let the developers, who are making a huge profit, pay the taxes for these new home owners, not the already over burdened residents.

I hope signing this helps but per Ramapo this is more than likely a done deal.

The residents of the Town of Ramapo do not need to offer incentives for further development. If there is a need and the proposal passes an environmental impact review, the the market will make the development attractive. If the Town can't attract prudential development, then it shouldn't happen. Offering tax incentives for overdevelopment is poor fiscal practice, is purely pandering to a special interest group, and hurts current taxpaying, voting homeowners.

I did not get this opportunity when I newly constructed my house and there is no need to increase population density in ramapo. Lower taxes for everyone else by increasing fees for new houses since we need to live with the high density housing.

Whoever came up with this idea should be removed from the board! Ramapo is overgrown already and the last thing they need to do is give tax breaks to anyone. There are already enough people off the tax rolls as it is!!!

Why should my hard working family be asked to carry a higher tax burden than the new “residents”? Current residents have funded the infrastructure and other costs to maintain Ramapo, including schools. New residents should carry the same responsibility and not always look to cheat the system.

What a bunch of crap!

Our town will go bankrupt if religious exemptions continue to be provided for a multitude of residential homes. Buildings that are solely houses of worship should be exempt, not homes that add a ‘room’ for worship.

Why in the world you want new home owners to pay less , why don’t you give the resident that have lived here for years a tax credit !!! Do not pass this law
