The tax exemption for new home buyers is discriminatory to current residents who have been burdened with paying exorbitant taxes for many years. Is the town making a statement of favoring certain populations while adding further hardship to current tax paying residents?

We are senior citizens already struggling with the extremely high taxes we dont want to leave our home but if this keeps up we will be forced out enough already

This is unfair to existing voters and does not represent the will of the people that the elected and appointed officials represent. This is clearly a play to appease the developers that may be illegally supporting town officials.
