The scheme will stimulate faster development in the area, will increase the burden of social facilities like school, library... Also, not fair to the original home owners who make up the gap of tax break. Finally, boost increase in property tax.

Cuomo and the corrupt crews in Albany and Ramapo are at it again. They are selling out the taxpayer to special interests who block vote them in office. Time for revolution! Make Ramapo Great Again! Vote against any incumbent, get these bums out!

I agree this is outrageous. Ramapo is suffering from a shortfall in revenue. I agree with what is written here.

Like Ramapo is suffering for lack of new residents!!! Who is going to be left to pay our enormous town bills? Our tax base is shrinking hourly. Only old timers will be left to support the new generation of residents and we are moving out and dying off. Who will Ramapo residents bilk then, when tax base is gone? Oh, I know, the rest of NYS!!

Post St. Lawrence administration, this proposal would just be adding insult to injury. WHO proposed this? Who in the current administration supports this? Ramapo citizens have a right to know, for future reference.

To approve this tax exemtion would increase the tax burden on all other tax payers and add additional strain on resources and services without equal responsibility. Also, there is no need to add additional burden on long-time residents especially retirees.

What are they doing!? Existing homeowners, faithful taxpayers already are over burdened and this will ruin the value of their homes too, for the "special interest pockets" NO! NO! and NO!

first time home buyers are, for the most part, in their prime earning years. they are much more capable of paying their fair share. give breaks and considerations to seniors who have been forced from Ramapo because of high taxes.
we are OVERPOPULATED. we do not need to attract but rather deflect population growth.
