People wait and go to school for 12 years and when the graduation hit they deserve to have fun and dress in dresses and suites that's the night we all wait on !!!

A very big part of any graduating students graduation is the dinner with family, I believe it has nothing to do with cost, I believe it has all to do with extra curricular activities for the teachers

It does make sense for religious events how people can't eat until sun down, and many people can't afford the dresses and tickets. Most of the people upset are people that have the money to spend on all of this. Let the kids celebrate but maybe just have a dance so there is still dresses and tickets, but people can get donated dresses or suits for less (like at value village) and the tickets would be less because they only have to cover the venue cost.

This is a huge part of graduation, no one looks forward to sitting through ceremonies, everyone looks forward to the banquet, where everyone gets dressed up and celebrates their accomplishments. In this day its surprising to see half of teens go to school, graduating is a huge deal.

seriously! School Board! Enough with all of these stupid changes. The more you keep changing this and that, the more messed up everything gets! Enough! We have all had more than enough!

i think this is terrible. These kids go through school doing homework, studying, writing exams all looking forward to having both grade 8 and 12 grads. For the school board to take this away I think is horrible and should be reinstated.

Why take away something that a lot of kids look forward to. Shouldn't this come down to at least a vote by parents & students.
