Reinstate the changes made to the graduation program to allow Regina Public Schools Students to have a full graduation banquet

Graduation banquet is something all seniors look forward to, not just during senior year but during all four years of highschool. Graduation banquets are a great way to celebrate your accomplishments; and enjoy your last days as a highschool student with your fellow classmates! It's a shame they want to stop such a fun and memorable time.

This is absurd! All parents look forward to sharing this milestone with their children, and to take it away with no justification is not a reason at all. Just another thing that is taken away from the kids, this is very sad.

Kids and parents look forward to this, this is a life event that should be celebrated and cherished. One more tradition we are being told to kiss good bye, sad!

Kids need the full affect of a graduation. They've gone through many years of education looking forward to all the activities that come with a grade 12 grad only to discover there is nothing. Families want to take part in their child's graduation not just cap and gown.

The best part of grad was being able to dress up and celebrate your success. The ceremony is for your parents and relatives. The banquet is for the graduate.

Although I am no longer in high school, grad was an exciting moment in time that I, as well as others, looked forward to! The celebration that we all worked so hard to get to should not be taken away. Many people still want the opportunity to enjoy their successes, and have their daughter/son enjoy their successes, at the end of the journey, they should not have that taken from them if they are willing to pay to attend. Those who don't want to go or take part should not have to attend either, but don't take the opportunity away from those who look forward to it.

At graduation might the last time you see some of the people you went to school your whole life. Don't take away the party away from these young adults that worked hard to graduate!!

This is a milestone that every graduate should be able to experience as this is what they work towards during their 4 years of highschool.

This is definitely a celebration that all Grade 12 students should be able to attend if they want to. Do not take away Grad for the Public School students.

I so do not agree with the removal of the graduation ceremony!! I should of had a say as a Public School tax payer and as a Parent of a Public school high school student!!!

This isn't fair for students who have been working so hard to graduate, we should be allowed a banquet its the whole fun in graduating.

The fortunate majority should not be penalized because of the unfortunate minority.

I think that it is terrible to exclude this from graduation! All.kids look forward to this as a sense of accomplishment as well as one stage of their lives.

The story they tell the public is complete bull. It's about the kids who drink and go to grad. These kids worked hard for it and as parents we want to be there to celebrate with them!! RPS are complete idiots. Take this away from the kids and parties will still Happen. Hope that makes them happy.

My oldest daughter graduated last year. It was a wonderful reason to celebrate her achievements . My younger daughter is in grade 11 now. It isn't fair to take that day away from these kids who work for it!!!!

KEEP IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
