Reinstate the changes made to the graduation program to allow Regina Public Schools Students to have a full graduation banquet

This is not right. It is a celebration and a tradition. Why take this away from the grads!?!

As a grandparent I am disgusted that the school board has made this decision. I have enjoyed watching some of my grandchildren at their banquets. Such a tradition should not be tossed aside. We scrimped and saved in order to afford our childrens grads and have paid for our own tickets to grandchildrens banquets. Have fund raising for ones that have difficulty with funding. Approach some big corporations. The cancelling of these events would damage some businesses and alo mean loss of wages for employees.

The banquet is the highlight of every graduation! People need to think of what their reaction would be if it was their grad banquet being cancelled when they graduated without having any insight into it!

Rediculous! When universities, police academies, and other such graduations change their ways, than MAYBE it would be justified, until then, it just looks like no one gives a damn about the graduating students and their special time to celebrate.

these young adults have worked so hard for many years to come to this point and day in their lives! They deserve to celebrate this accomplishment with friends and family!!! It's something they look forward too for many year and will remember for many more!

We can have strict rules about kids coming drunk have security doors and not invite people in who are drunk

Graduating is a huge milestone in life. The "whole" graduating experience. There are ways for people who have little money to participate. Fundraising, thrift shops or the alternative, not participating. Everyone should at least have the option to experience graduation the way we have been doing it for decades if they so choose to do so.

i know that my grad banquet was extremely fun and I wouldn't have wanted to miss out on that! it's something that seniors look forward to and use as motivation in their last couple months of high school!
