Reinstate the changes made to the graduation program to allow Regina Public Schools Students to have a full graduation banquet

im am against this

I believe this is hugely unfair to steal this away from graduates that worked hard through school. If the schools are concerned about the students who can't afford it, then they should throw a fundraiser to make it cheaper

BRING IT BACK!!!!

The graduation banquet is a celebration for the fact that those students accomplished a milestone. This shouldn't be taken away from them. If it's too difficult to continue setting up the banquets, the students should have some sort of prom instead.

Why take away something that the students work so hard for and look forward too? Taking away traditions. Poor choice.

It's unfair that we don't get a banquet or for some even a graduation ceremony. This is our senior year and for most of us, graduation is what we are really looking forward too. Having a graduation ceremony and banquet are what makes us strive to get good grades and power through school. Being able to walk across that stage in front of family, friends, and loved ones really means a lot to us. It says that we've made it into the adult world and will continue to push ourselves to achieve bigger and greater things. Then getting to have a banquet, dress up and have a nice meal with all your friends tops it all off. I am not speaking only for myself but for the others when I say, please do not give up on this. Don't take graduation away from us. It's the most important part of senior year.

Don't cancel the Graduation Banquet.. You are ruining the event for all based on a few isolated incidents.

Hard work pays off. Not? I can't think of one good reason not to have banquets. Let's make it happen.

Ridiculous!! Grade 12 grad is most every students dream night and most every parents dream to not only watch their children shine during the cap and gown but to see the whole kit and kaboodle! The girls in their dream dresses (or outfits of choice) and the boys in their dapper outfits of choice. Watching the awards and presentations given at the banquets is special too! Keep the graduations as they have always been!!!

Don't take this away from our kids!

I want to see my best friend look stunning at a banquet.

We will fundraise if costs are such an issue...there is literally not one of your silly reasons that can't be easily fixed. Keep the banquet!!

A grad banquet should be something they shouldn't be taking away from us!

It's something you will remember for the rest of your life and now some are unable to have it. It's unfair give the graduates something to hold on to for memories.

Grad banquets are something we've all looked forward to for so long. The sad thing is the people taking it away had there's many years ago and they feel they have the right to strip us of ours.

The Banquet Dinner I had attended when I graduated was one if the most memorable moment ghts of my entire education path, including my University Days.Please reinstate this most important component to the graduation if High School students!

I personally have loved the idea of a banquet since my brother graduated a few years ago. It was a time to celebrate with my family about the accomplishments. We could have been eating fast food for all I cared, I just liked being with my family. Now, I don't get to experience us celebrating my successes as a family and with my friends. I understand they want to have a prom sort of thing, but it's not nearly the same.

Ridiculous that something like this would be taken away.
