Reinstate the changes made to the graduation program to allow Regina Public Schools Students to have a full graduation banquet

These kids are our tomorrow and deserve all the love and support we can give them. In the end, we are all but a composition of memories, let them be good ones to look back on and not memories taken.

this is unacceptable if the reasons I seen on the news last night are the basis of this idea it's ridiculous. If they can't afford to go then don't go but do not take it away from the ones that have worked hard for this event in life.

taking this away is wrong many levels, it is the last formal get together in a teens life and an easy transition into the formalality of life

The banquet is a time for the graduates to celebrate a milestone that they accomplished; and memories they can all cherish together before they all embark on different paths in their lives. They should have this and keep the banquet as a traditional way to say farewell and wish their fellow friends and students the best in their future endeavors.

Every graduate deserves the right to celebrate their achievements to the fullest!

This is crazy that they would even think of deleting this from kids lives, they should be ashamed!

This is a very important part of the graduation day. You get to be a princess for a day and feel on top of the world after you worked so hard to achieve your grade 12 diploma. Fundraising could easily be done to help with costs.

The Grad Banquet is the best memory I have from high school. I believe it is an incentive for hard work and dedication. It is truly unfair to take this privilege away from future high school graduates.

How awful to not have the full experience for graduating students. It ought to be a special occasion and they should have the chance to make some good memories.

This is a monumental day for these kids this celebration is something they have all earned and with proper guidance can be a happy and safe celebration for everyone invloved, it is absurd to even think about taking a tradition like this away from our kids.

Way to make graduating not special. I guess this decision is so the people who never applied themselves and flunked don't feel bad.

The banquet ceremony was such a fun and special part of grad where many memories were made! Dont take that away.

You can not take something like this away with out first consulting the people it affects.

I think this is just ridiculous. I don't have rich parents by any means, by we made my grad work by buying a cheap dress and fundraising money we need to bring this back for students!

This is absolutely ridiculous. Where was the consultation process in this? Be sure to give your public school board trustee your feedback.
