My two kids also below 16 years. I'm planning to come to my country this Year July. Actually here also kids are not allow to take vaccine. SL government needs to consider this positively

New SL Goverment quarantine policy has created gray area with child policy from age 12-16 years.
As per World Health organization, age of 16 and below are not permitted to take any COVID 19 vaccine hence SL Goverment quarantine child policy to be enhanced accordingly.
More time they take more unpopular this Goverment will become within Forign employees returning to Sri Lanka with their families specially during Sinhalese and Tamil new year season.

This is really ridiculous decision as far as I concern too. If the WHO not allowed that age to get vaccines why the hell government has to punish the parents for that.i have 16 old and I make sure he got the vaccine.but other 02 kids are not able to do that and what do you want me to do? Really not make sense at all.

Age limit should aligned with WHO guidelines, up to 16 years. Not with IATA travel age limits. U16 should be released as long as parent is negative upon arrival PCR check. We should look at a practical scenario and think out of box.
