Petition to the Government of New Brunswick to stop QIFS cuts to New Brunswick Daycares

its hard to find a great day care ... And the price we pay in some cases are more then mortgage payments.... By doing this our kids futures will be effected in a negative way. Good people in the day care system will be lost and our kids early education will be effected .

This is not right, the cost of childcare is already enough and this will have to increase! There will be good day area closing doors as they truly depend on this funding!

I hope the government realizes that us girls vote too!!

this needs to be stopped. It is hurting all daycare operators and our future generations care !!

Pre-school education is very important to both children and parents. A qualified and nice daycare can not only educate children but also help the parents to work without any worry. This decision is so depressed.

Very important that the government re-evaluate these cuts and reflect on other opportunities to cut spending, such as catering for meetings and events, requiring staff to carpool when possible, and reducing travel budgets. These are our children, they deserve the best!

I believe this is not a place to cut off funds.....

This is outrageous!!! This cut directly came out of my pocket! $1100 per month!! Who can afford that? Not me.... How would the politicians like that to be cut from there pocket? Amy

Women need to and want to work and it does not just help them financially BUT also the economy of New Brunswick. Cut this funding and many will not be able to work (because of the potential lack of daycare centers). Please re-think this N.B. government!!

This is not enabling families to thrive in our communities. With the unemployment rates where they are and many families working more than one part time job to make ends meet, you are literally taking food out of the mouths of babes. Find your cuts somewhere else. Stop picking on the working class!

This cost will only be transferred to the parents who already struggle with the cost of daycare. On top of everything else, this is just too much.

Please cancel those cuts, Working families need those positions to be available, affordable, this action will not achieve that at all! Short term gain for the Government for long term pain to hard working NB families!

This is rediculious !! Everything tgat is cut back is alway money that is for the children and their education and up bringing !! As a small business owner and a owner of a daycare it is not easy now to make ends meet month to month. But now you want to take away my wages !! I went to college and recvieved my education just like to rest of my staff and becausr i went a step further and open up my own you want to take more away from us ! I think it is time for someone else to take a hit beside our children and their future !

I depended on a licensed day care centre for three years when I was a single mom...I hope my grandchildren will have access to high-quality, affordable child care!

how are mothers suppose to work if they cant afford daycare what a silly place to take cuts from

Please do not make cuts to daycare operators. They provide a necessary service that the provincial government should but does not provide.
