This is completely unfair to the owner/operators. Who do you think ensures that the children in their centers have the very best care possible? They need those funds to keep providing quality care. These children are our future, why would you want to take away from them?

The rising costs of childcare is making it impossible for families to get ahead especially if you have more than one child. Also the need for good Childcare Educators will be impacted with any funding cuts.

What is wrong with our government ? why are they cutting back on our day care, schools ? This is just not right. Parents need their kids to go to daycare to work, to make a living. All thye think about is saving money, to me its just greed, they just want it for themselves. Totally disgusted with our Canadian government.

I voted Liberal, for the first time in my voting life this past Provincial Election in NB. It may be my last time after attacks like this..

As a family with two parents working full time and two young children, we rely on our daycare. If one of us stops working bc we cannot afford the new, higher daycare rates, the government makes less money from our taxes. Lose-lose. This is an extremely short sighted move.

Please reconsider our use of tax dollars. I cannot imagine how daycare a operate on less. I don't want to send my child to a cheaper private home.

Stop messing with the hardworking people of this province. Shame on you! That was my LAST Liberal vote.

Just pathetic....people are having a hard time paying daycare now, this is going to make it unaffordable. This will also cause daycares to close their doors as they will not be able to operate! First the seniors, now the children! What next!

Mr. Gallant visited my children's daycare and was so full of support for our children and their well being. So glad I didn't vote for you.

To lower the income of daycare operators means to lower the quality of our daycare which we send our children to to be educated and taken care of we need if anything for them to be givin more money so that they can upbring a brighter future

New Brunswicker's can't afford to pay any more for daycare. You are forcing families to choose between having a job and having children..

Not right to cut off funds for daycare, what are parents gunna do when daycare closes and we have no place to send our children so we can go to work

Cutting any funds associated with day care is obscene and obtuse. The government needs to wake the hell up.

We have all worked so hard to professionalize the field of childcare. With this cut, we took a big step backwards in our efforts! Let's stick together and show the government that this funding is NEEDED to help maintain our quality centres! :)

There's so many different areas of our community that could handle these cuts, rather than making our children and the good people who care for them suffer for it. These cuts will not bring anything positive to the table. Cut on prison funds; those people earnt the mistreatment, not working parents, care givers and our children.
