This is terrible, I will be writing a letter! I rather the government take some of the $100 daycare allowance than increase it and cut funding.

First they cut teaching positions in the province. Now cutting childcare service funds. Then they complain about our education in the province. My daughter goes to a great daycare, after school and I have no regrets. I've seen so much positive change in her since she started day care, it's incredible. We thought we had it great with the first sitter, but nothing compared to this day care. Thinking about it this doesn't surprise me the government looking for it pocket. The rich get richer, the poor get poorer and the middle class keeps doing whatever it takes to survive

as a co- owner / and class educator this decrease in salary will have to be made up in some other way which will definitley affect us one way or another. Daycares di not make big money. We just get by. Check to check NOW THIS! Not fair. Government : u need to reconsider your decision now because in the long run everyone will loose!!!

Don't rob the children of the wonderful opportunity to learn in such a caring environment.

why are governments always willing to hit women earning low wages with cut backs. Its always women and children that suffer, while higher paid people making $100,000 continue to do so. WOMEN EARNING GOOD WAGES PUT THIER MONEIES TOWARD FOOD AND CLOTHING,THEY PUT THIER FUNDS RIGHT BACK INTO LOCAL BUSSINESS, SHAME ON YOU.

This is definitely a slap in the face to daycare owners. Our children our future and we must not forget that. We must fight this for our children's sake.

There are enough people in this province struggling to keep their heads above water. Don't further drown them.
