Petition to the Government of New Brunswick to stop QIFS cuts to New Brunswick Daycares

Stop making it so hard to find trustworthy and caring environments for our children!

This is just wrong. Whats next? How far are they willing to go? Clearly they do not have the right people for these type of decisions.

This is crazy he is truly effecting the middle to lower class families from job losses right up to parents potentially spending more money for daycare.

the government needs to increase the teaching and early childhood learning not decreasing it. Children are not getting enough education now because of cut backs. We need to star when they are young and registered childcare is a good place to start! Keep your promises.

Stop cutting fundings to our kids. They need to be treated as investments and not expenses.

being in the childcare field for over 25 years I have seen many things happen but this by far is the worst. these are our most precious possessions we are messing with and I for one cannot stand by and do nothing.

Just plain stupid! Think about it Mr Gallant .. Common sense don't do this.

We want quality affordable daycare!!!

This is a bad move..it affects everyone from parents, educators, directors, student ECE and also the children. Why disrupt so many lives when there are other things that should be done instead?

I strongly disagree 100 % with the government's actions. I worked in daycare for 10 years now. I went to college to get my early childhood education and work my butt off. I don't think you guys understand how important childcare is and what is needed for the children. We as child care providers spend quality time with the children nurturing teaching, playing, etc . We play an important role in their lives we are like their second family. I believe cutting the funds is ridiculous and you should give your head a shake. Your taking something very important away from the children and staff that give their all . We are just like teachers and believe that we deserve so much more then what we recieve and you plan to take it away. You should be ashamed of yourselves and think of the kids welfare first. End of rant.

The decision to make cuts to Day Cares will surely do irreparable harm to working families. The government needs to re-think this plan!

This could be the Gallant government's Fracking or Quebec Power deal both of which toppled previous N.B. governments. Take care of the future and the future will take care of itself.

This is down right outragious! Being an early childhood educator i see how hard owners work to keep things going as it is to provide families with high quality care for their children. Getting rid of funding is going to affect not only staff, owners and parents but most of all the children. It's not fair to the children! i know dozens of educators who are like me and spend already a ton of their own money to give better quality to the children through decorations, toys and crafts. Funding can NOT be cut! Childcare is just as important as schools and teaching. Possibly even more, where children learn the most the first 5 years of their life! Don't make the children suffer!!

I voted for him because he said he wanted to put more money into this system and now it was all a lie. I do not like being lied to!

We work hard for the little money we get why would you take it from us.

This can not be done! Lives will be ruined for families and ECE workers
