I have single handedly seen peripheral nerve stimulation change patients lives. These patients are already extremely limited on sustainable options for their pain and with PNS they are able to have a long term and effective option while also lowering or completely eliminating the need for opiates and opioids. Eliminating pns as an option to patients would place more financial demands and long term care costs to patients and insurance companies, continue the upwards trend of medication use and most importantly would remove the opportunity for countless patients to have an improved quality of life.

PNS is very effective for pain relief and does not require medication therapy which are both crucial components to help combat the current widespread opioid epidemic in the United States.

Many of my doctors have been able to help their patients with PNS without the need for a permanent implant.

With the opiod epidemic, we need procedures like these to help patients in pain and reduce pain medications in the public while improving quality of life.
