There is a lot of unused land available that would not have the negative impact on the community of full time residents.

We must force developers to keep with the land use requirements. They were put in place for a reason. Managed growth, responsible development, and keeping with land use guidelines are critical for Walton County's future, and the most important thing we can do for future generations!

My family has been in this area for over 100 years. In Point Washington for over 50. Please for the love of god do not pass this. This area is already built up so much that it's lost it's quiteness.
And honestly the school traffic is far to much already. There should be something done about that as well.

The traffic problems for residents, schools, and Churches will be overwhelming. Why ruin another historic town for greed?

There is a combination of 1,100 or more students between the elementary and middle school in this area. Traffic would be more than that roadway could handle. It sounds like the developer is asking to take away from the area way more than he can add back to the community. Please consider another location or refurbishing a structure no longer in use. There is a reason people move to Pt Washington, its tranquil and unplugged from tourists.
How many others will follow if these requests are permited?

I am against this. If you can't follow the rules you shouldn't be building.
