The mayor finally signed the order and the building for Torat Moshe is officially ours. Our children will no longer be forced into those dangerous caravans because we refused to back down. We won this battle but we will keep watching the city hall office to ensure they follow through.

Parents of the school are pleading with the mayor to heed our numerous requests and give our children a building. The situation is intolerable and unsafe. There is overcrowding and very poor sanitary conditions: leaking roofs in caravans, heating and cooling systems that barely function, tiny concrete area allocated for play. Torat Moshe has been in existence for around twenty years and has grown tremendously. We received a reply a few months ago that the building has been allocated to us but now we hear this is possibly not finalized and we cannot accept this. School begins in a few weeks we can't wait any longer to know there is a solution. It is difficult for us to understand why this is not a priority. We are asking for this to be addressed immediately as a priority of the city. Respectfully the Parents of Torat Moshe. Please help our children and provide us with a building for the start of the school year.

The mayor can no longer ignore the thousands of us demanding a real building for our children. We are forcing his hand and this momentum proves he has run out of excuses for these intolerable conditions.

As a mother of 4 boys in Toras Moshe, I feel that it’s ridiculous that newer schools are getting precedence over ours to receive new buildings. This is a long-standing and established school, and the students and teachers deserve better. Our boys deserve to be able to go to the bathroom during the winter without getting soaked from the rain. They deserve to have classrooms free of mice and cats. They deserve roofs that aren’t falling around their ears! Please let them learn in comfort and safety. Thank you.

My grandchildren attend Torat Moshe and I've seen the poor, unsanitary and unsafe conditions in which they spend up to 8 hours a day. It is unfathomable that children should be expected to learn and grow under such poor physical conditions.

There is mold throughout the classrooms creating a health hazard to the students. Specifically to my son who has environmental allergies and asthma.

I absolutely LOVE Toras Moshe and all that it has been able to offer my son. But I have been aentirely appalled by the city for how little care and attention Beit shemesh has given to one of it its leading talmid torahs!! my son is in a class of 34+ boys not only is there simply not enough room in the school to split up the over sized class the class room that they do have doesn't have a working door. the Morahs are constantly getting locked out making it so that the boy cant use the restroom when needed along with a whole host of other safety risks that come along with such a situation. A city that it growing at the rates of ours deserves to have a government that cares. PLEASE HELP US HELP OUR CHILDREN.

Their facilities are really shocking. It is very distressing that my grandchildren have to attend school for numerous hours of their lives in such conditions

It’s about time It’s. A disgrace they have to learn in a place where the walls are peeling off and worse
