Attention Anglian Water: Little Paxton residents have had enough of the 'Paxton Pong' from your water treatment plant
The odour that frequently drifts over from your sewage works to residential areas of the village is negatively impacting on the lives of many in our community. We are often unable to fully enjoy spending time in our homes, gardens, and our outdoor community spaces - particular during the Summer months. As you are likely aware, allowing waste odours from your treatment plants to escape into residential areas is actually a potential breach of pollution control licences. As such we want an assurance from Anglian Water that you will take the necessary steps to address this problem, as you have done in Milton.

An answer to this issue would be very welcome, it is very unpleasant at times.

The smell that wafts over Little Paxton is most unpleasant. I had no idea this was preventable and that Anglian Water has the ability to rectify the situation. Please resolve this issue.
