Why don't you make an engine that actually didn't break. Then you won't have to short change your techs.

I'm signing this, for me and my techs. My techs deserve that extra time, especially replacing engines for people who really don't take care of their vehicles in the first place.

Technicans and skilled laborers are what makes this country. You really need to reconsider taking away wages and opportunity

Please take into consideration how long it takes technicians to replace engines . Thanks

It’s absolutely absurd that Kia is the ducting flat rate technicians hours for their hard work but adding more work and procedures to be done to these recalls

This is so unfair! We depend on these hours to pay our bills! My husband works his a$$ off going over and beyond expectations going in early and leaving late most days just so we can have a dependable income. Now this! What's he supposed to do? It already feels like he lives at his job!

Around a 30% cut on warranty engine replacements. This includes doing a full system dtc scan, bearing clearance test, all the goofy papers that must be read and followed correctly to have the claim covered. This would include insuring that we have also checked for the latest and greatest updates on this recall. This is a lot of work to be completed in the amount of time that this has been cut to.

It should stay at 8 hours.

It's not the technicians fault for a faulty designed engine.

It should be 8.8

I know quite a few technicians that are going to now refuse replacing due to this slash of labor times. I know I am now hesitant to replace any more.

Really is unbelievable. I am a service manager at a Kia dealership and see how hard these master techs work day in and day out. To lower the labor times and to increase the diag process just isn’t right. These technicians did not build these vehicles but are being penalized for having to repair them. Don’t see how this is justified by Kia and I fear I will lose quality techs due to this
