Not fair. Techs need compensation for the diagnosis process and approval. (Compression test, bore check etc)

I do all the engines at my dealership. A almost 2 to 3 hour per engine drop in pay. Really hurts when you are doing 8 to 11 a pay check.

The manufacturer completely goes unchecked. These labor times are decided in a controlled environment where everything including all of the tools are laid out and the car is already on the lift and all of the parts are near the car. These times are completely unrealistic and there is no way to challenge this. If you do challenge it your email goes into a black hole and you never get a response.

Yea sure great idea if you wanna push the few good techs Kia /Hyundai have out of the business or to other manufacturers. Soon no one will want to work for you. Great idea Kia! As the slogan goes "Power to surprise!"

Pay us is what we deserve. Cutting the hours is not fair.

I'm a technician at OH057 and we do our best to follow best practices. To be given a more tedious process along with cut labor times is absurd.

I believe it is unfair to take out company losses on the backs of our Technicians. We work too hard to constantly get our labor chopped!! Have all any of you suits yanked an engine?? You should try one !!!

These times unreasonable . PWA tech line wait time for response . 3 HRs . 3 Hrs the car sits on the lift to see if they want something else from you before you push the car back out .

Why is it always the tech times dropping to compensate for poor manufacturing and development. It’s flat rate pay, it’s a constant stress of hoping to make a decent check. Getting tougher with times, literally.

Change in labor hours should always include dealerships ownership involvement of top 100 dealers before making adjustments

5 hours to replace an engine. You don’t want the public to hear that trust me!
