Stop screwing techs out of money because of faulty engineering. Your engineering issues should not hinder a techs ability to feed themselves or their familiesbor provide their OWN TOOLS to work on YOUR misengineered vehicles.

Shop foreman here. This is getting ridiculous and is only going to get worse. It’s not the technicians fault the motors were poorly engineered...

Unfair labor cut. It’s bad enough they cut the parts department on there recalls now they are doing it to the techs. Very distasteful. Make me never want to buy a Kia or Hyundai ever.

I'm signing. But nothing will change. Not until they hear the words law suit.
Techs are just scum at the bottom to them.

lower the labor times is absurd. What about all the time I have to spend doing paper work and documentation.

I agree that the labor times have dropped too far considering more work is to be performed now than before in just submitting claims. Also if you are replacing the sub assembly under factory warranty vs. The campaign, it pays higher, yet there is less work to be performed.

Dealerships and employees should not pay for manufacturing short comings and they are still continuing

Been a Kia Tech 21 years. A great way to treat essential workers in 2020.

Reducing labor times is theft. Many techs are leaving the field because of L.T.S. being lowered.

Hyundai tech here and due to recent labor times being cut I have lost any motivation to take care of the customer why spend my extra time in making sure my work is clean and neat with labor times like this sure I'll just slap it together and strip every bolt in the way not my problem just have to beat labor times

This is why I left kia. So much jumping through hoops to get things approved , filling out core sheets and making sure you can drop everything as soon as the engine hits the floor and get it installed asap! Now for even less time... I'm perfectly ok with going to an independent shop. Hell, Christian brothers is closed on weekends!!

This time gouging of technicians is becoming ridiculous, we are the back bone of your product and it feels asthough we are being forced out of the work for buger eating burger flippers
