The schools that have opened have shown it can be done safely and with low or no cases transmitted at school. Put kids back in school for the sake of their education and mental health.

Nosophobia is not healthy! Schools need to be OPEN and children and young adults need NORMAL HEALTHY INTERACTIONS for proper development. As an "essential worker" who had to work on site all throughout COVID, I do not understand why teachers are being treated as non-essential. TEACHERS ARE ESSENTIAL and they should be at work too, unless they have specific health concerns relating to COVID risk. Parents should have the option to keep their child home but schools should be OPEN!
