It's an awesome site in desperate need of renovation and tourism promotion. How many more bars do you need down there? Focus some local/government money on its restoration.

Being in the film industry/television and Best Selling Author/Screewriter/Producer, this would be a great loss of historical proportions. I was fortunate to visit and investigate this prestigious place with my family. It would be an injustice to consider anything whatsoever other than it remaining the historical sites it is now.

I don't mind bars but don't we have a plenty of them Now and I don't go to bars or anything And don't mind having them around but too many is too many... Let's keep

Saving the historic jail will help maintain a small part of the identity of Crown Point. Adding another bar and grill would not. As an out of towner, I would much rather drive through an unfamiliar town and enjoy the character of the location through its historic landmarks than hang out at a bar. Keep history alive! Save the jail!

Preserving this historical building should be the city's concern. Another bar and grill type place isn't necessary there considered there are plenty throughout the City of Crown Point, IN. Putting this building up for a historical landmark might be something that should be looked at for this building.
