This petition is to encourage netflix to provide the homeland service to military service members and their families serving overseas. We are red blooded Americans, that love our Netflix. It would be a bold show of support to our troops moral and that of their families to open up the service for members with an APO billing address. We understand the country restrictions for the benefit of business. However, making the exception for Americans serving their country is an immeasurable gesture of goodwill. Let's show Netflix how many service members and their families would appreciate it.

Hulu and Amazon don't restrict their services. All you are achieving is forcing American customers to cancel your service and pay for a company who actually values their sacrifice. Italian Netflix only has about 5% of the shows we watch on American Netflix. There is a reason we're forced to use unblockers.
Not all of us have the option to live on post and due to not enough on-post housing some of us are forced to live in the economy. So we should be granted the same privileges as any typical American. Because in the end we ARE Americans and are here in another country because our country tells us to be.
Please! We have tried to use Netflix.de but it's not fair that they don't use the same licensing so, for instance, aren't even running the 4th season of House of Cards! It's their own show! Please Netflix!
My husband and I are teachers for DODEA. (Military Schools) and we utilize many of your documentaries in our classrooms and we would really like to be able to keep Netflix in our classrooms here in Germany.
As a military family we sacrifice quit a bit. Not having my husband around to help with our three children. When moving overseas we live without lots of things that remind us of home. Having Netflix is such a wonderful perk for many families.
I believe that all military service members shouldn't have to jump through a million hoops in order to be able to watch their own country's Netflix! They should make it a little easier!
It is ridiculous that we can't see our homeland's version of Netflix. Our homeland is USA, not Europe.

I've been waiting for Netflix to come to US service members overseas. There had to be some process of proof we can provide like proof of military membership at sign up when member/account holder is still stateside.
