No to rezoning Prosperity Farms Rd. for the following reasons:
1) Too much traffic in that area
2) Negative impact on residential area
3) Need to protect habitat for Nature Preserve area
4) Noise from fire rescue that will be frequently there
5) Area not large enough to support necessary building and parking that will be needed.
6) School and bus traffic already difficult in morning and afternoon. T

NO to the commercial rezoning! This is a residential area with multiple school bus stops as well as Allamanda Elementary in the immediate area. What about the turtles? Why can't the area be a nature preserve/green space like the preserve area north of PGA Blvd. on Prosperity? As a fairly new homeowner in the area, our decision to buy would certainly have been affected by commercial land use in close proximity. The road is already congested. Consider the negative impact of increased traffic, i.e. commercial vehicles, delivery & service trucks, employees, & visitors on public safety. How about the impact on our environment with increased noise & pollution... Rezoning to commercial would be the beginning of the end of a sense of residential neighborhood/community. When I walk in the mornings along Prosperity to Allamanda, I often see people walking dogs, jogging, fishing in the canal, and even a turtle or two. Lately, I have not seen the turtles come out of their tunnels in the field on Prosperity... Bummer...

I am against this project for three reasons.
1. The proposed "enterprise" does not fit with the spirit of current zoning regulations. The opposite would be to allow a single family residence to be built in a strip mall.
2. Because of the proposed facility's location, the traffic problems this project will create will be now and forever. We will have to live with this reality, not the owners of the proposed facility. What is so special about this location, for us to be put to this test?
3. Finally, how about the folks who come and visit their loved ones. The parking as currently stated is a joke, and good luck turning left on Mother's Day!

I drive through this section of Prosperity Farms Road several times a day, including peak and off peak hours. It is always busy. All of the in and outbound traffic for this project will be right where the road bottlenecks already. It is extremely hard to get in and out of the well established nearby neighborhoods. This doesn't fit here. Regarding parking- for 68 beds they have already requested to reduce the amount of parking for guests to 17 parking spots. Where will the overflow try to park? Along Prosperity or on our neighborhood streets?

No spot rezoning! Above all the other hundreds of reasons, it puts our young school aged children in danger.! A great majority of our kids walk, congregate and wait here on the sidewalks both to and from school. The sidewalks are filled with kids nearly 4 hours a day. The increased traffic and emergency vehicles that will have to service this type of facility will expose our children and neighborhood to unnecessary danger, noise and congestion. Prosperity is jam packed already and this will make it a hardship on us all and compound the already existing problem. Please keep our village a neighborhood! Who in their right mind would approve to put a largely memory care facility next to an elementary school, in a residential neighborhood, where traffic is already a huge problem and in the middle of one of the biggest bus stop areas serving many schools where our children now safely congregate! Please listen to the voices of the voters who elected you and act in the best interests of the residents. Thank you

One additional concern would be overflow parking. Can you imagine employees and visitors parking on the street in Pepperwood and Allamanda Drive.

This type of property should be on US #1 where it is already zoned for commercial usage. Too much traffic on Prosperity Farms Road already. We do not need this parcel to be rezoned.

This project will negatively impact traffic on Prosperity Farms Road (where we have 3 schools) and lower surrounding property values.

I have a sincere place in my heart for assisted living facilities, but this is not the location for one. It is too close to Allamanda Elementary, damages the aesthetics of the area, and interferes with the nature/wildlife preserve.
